Pinnacles FC

Pinnacles FC has been training young athletes in the fundamentals of the game since 1954. Our programs are designed to match each player's unique abilities and level of play. Our goal is to develop strength, flexibility and coordination. To create an atmosphere where any player can achieve their highest level of accomplishments.

Pinnacles FC's 1000 touches will build a player's confidence on the ball. The 10+ drills are designed to utilize different parts of the foot. The numerous repetitions builds muscle memory and a feeling for the ball. When a player masters all of these skills they can do the majority without looking at the ball as they can simply feel where it is. Encourage players as they grow their confidence to get their head up and pick up their speed as well.

Coaching and player pointers:
Always use a ball to keep players core engaged, head up, hands out and follow the ball with your whole body. This will enhance core strength leading to more consistent form on diving.

The first drill shown is focusing on proper and full extensions. The cross bar not only adds difficulty with height but also as a blinder for a few seconds just as would happen in a game, with players bodies.

As a member of both the BC and Canadian Soccer Associations, Pinnacles FC is an organization committed to promoting soccer and overall healthy activities to children and youth throughout the South Okanagan.
