Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Player ID Day?
The player ID day allows our team of coaches to assess players and form the teams for our the Spring season of the Excelsior program. Players may be placed onto teams for the TOYSL league, COYSA league, or will continue developing in our Grassroots program. Player placement is at the discretion of the Head Coach.
Who should attend?
All players born 2017 and older who are interested in playing in competitive soccer this Spring are welcome to join.
What is it like?
Play is typically scrimmage style.
About the competitive leagues:
TOYSL teams will play in the Thompson-Okanagan Youth Soccer League (TOYSL). This is a competitive league that will require players to commute as far as Kamloops for games.
The Development teams will play in the Central Okanagan Youth Soccer Association (COYSA) league. This league is less competitive than the TOYSL league, and most games are played in West Kelowna.
